Bronckhorst Confident with Feyenoord Performance in the Champions League
Giovanni van Bronckhorst insists Feyenoord has a dream to win the Champions League title, and ensures that his team is still on track despite a 2-1 defeat over Shakhar Donetsk early this morning.
Stevens Berghuis himself gave hope to the Eredivisie’s deputy after scoring the first goal, but two second-half goals from Shakhtar ensured the visitors took three points.
“We played well today. We made another step in the Champions League, but that did not lead to points. But Shakhtar have good qualities and they are a baguisle football team and I think we are good too but that is not enough, “Feyenoord manager told local media.
“Shakhtar has been through the group phase for the last 8 years, and I think we are approaching that level by playing this type of fight. As we get closer to that level, we are getting better through this game of sepreti, “he said.
